Proclamation

The practice of surveying is a privilege, as well as a service. Each person who holds a certificate of registration must maintain integrity and high standards of skill and practice (Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4733).

Tobin-McFarland Surveying, Inc. was established in 1976 with Thomas E. Tobin and Rodney G. McFarland as principle owners. One of our primary goals was to be community oriented, while offering a professional service.

Tobin-McFarland has been, and will continue to be, directly involved in community and charitable organizations including but not limited to: Lancaster, Baltimore and Pickerington Chambers of Commerce, Fairfield County Historical Parks, Fairfield County Arts Alliance, Habitat for Humanity, The Lancaster Festival, Heritage Association, and United Way.

We have seen six young people whom we have employed obtain college degrees, including a dual degree in surveying and engineering at the Ohio State University.

Tobin-McFarland now has two Registered Professional Surveyors on staff who are experienced in all areas of surveying.

We feel privileged to be a part of Lancaster and Fairfield County knowing that we retrace the footsteps of those who first surveyed the magnificent fair fields.
